World Championships - done, State Tournament - up next!
April 25-28 our team went to the FIRST Robotics World Championships in St. Louis and the trip was amazing! We didn't win, or even make it to the finals, but it was a valuable experience nonetheless. To see teams and robots from around the world, to compete at this level, to be part of the crowd - there were over 400 teams from many nations - was unlike anything we've experienced before! Saturday May 19 is the first-ever Minnesota State High School League FIRST Robotics State Championship Tournament. This is the first full year of robotics as a MSHSL activity, and the top 28 teams in the state have been invited to participate in the tournament. The RoboEagles are proud to be in that elite group! The event will be at Williams Arena on the University of Minnesota Campus, and is free and open to all. It's a great chance to see our team in action! Details can be found here (the schedule is at the bottom of the page.)
